New_1.wmf (2650 bytes)   Our precedent-setting defense of the employer in Hygh v. Geneva Enterprises was cited by Virginia Law Weekly in its "Best of 1998" edition as one of the top legal stories of the year because it was "high in the hearts of lawyers who defend discrimination cases...." and one of the Top 10 opinions of the year.  (13 VLW 810-11; VLW 98-8-35)

We represented the successful plaintiff in Sporicidin v. Baker & Hostetler, et al. (DC Superior Ct.), one of the most complicated civil actions ever tried in that court, according to press accounts. We prevailed both on breach of contract and breach of fiduciary (ethical) duties against one of the largest law firms in the country, represented in turn by two more of the largest law firms in the country.

We represent doctors in litigation regarding their practices and employment.

We represent creditors and a special receiver in cases alleging fraud and racketeering activity, offshore accounts, fraudulent conveyances, breach of fiduciary and professional duties, and bankruptcy fraud.
